The UK-based CIPS (The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) is going to hold its first International Conference in Hong Kong on 21st June (Thursday) in the Island Shangri-la. The theme is 'Sustainability - Creating Profit and Increasing Shareholder Value'.

Speakers include Ms Linda Ho, Chief Executive Officer of Green Council, Mr David L Loseby, Group Director of the Carphone Warehouse Group plc (CPW) ; Mr Yang Dongning, a professor from Beijing University, Dr Glenn Frommer, Sustainable Development Manager of MTRC and more.

On 21st June, CIPS and Recruit are going to present the 'Purchasing and Merchandising Awards' as well. It's expected 150- -200 purchasing and supply professionals from Hong Kong and China will attend the conference.
